Much needed REST!

Sorry for the lapse with blogs! As stated in the heading, i was away getting some much needed REST! Its been almost 1 1/2 years since ive taken extended time off from the shop. Over that time much has happend, i stress the word much. Although some of the things that have happed have been for the better there has been plenty of negative things as well. But if your a bit older and into your 30's you know as well as i do its usually the difficult times and stressful moments that makes us stronger and a better person. We also know that when its over, its never really over, its only the calm before the next storm.

For my two weeks off i went back to  Michigan, my home state. I went back with my youngest daughter and left her with my wifes family, boy were they excited! After droping off my 1 year old i headed staight north to the UP (thats the upper penisula of Michigan) and on the way stoped at my favorite river to fish, the Pere Marquette. If you love fly fishing and havent fished this river in Michigan you need to put it on your list. Absalutely beautiful! Peaceful, relaxing and if your patience is with you the day your fishing you will catch some trout that will make you smile from ear to ear. 

It was a time of renewal. I was alone and with my maker. In my buisiness i tend to forget that im human and i need extened times like these with know computer, phone, or "to do" lists! I love Morocco and i love what im doing with surfinginmorocco/kaishapes. Surfing gives me great rest and joy but its all the other "things" that if im not careful drag me down. Now that im back and well rested im hoping to take surfinginmorocco to the next level. What is that next level? Not sure yet, i have some ideas and Lord williing they line up with his will.
