The Burly!

Well, it's done! I can see why shapers don't make more of these types of boards. When finished it's beautiful, but it does take some time to get it finished plus a ton of patience. I got the idea off a frined of mine (Justin) who makes great boards from Michigan, yes Michigan. He's been shaping for about 6 yrs and he knows what he's doing. If your intrested check out his page at burly boards. The board i did was a 5'8" x 21" x 2 3/4" double concave, twin fin, with VERY little rocker. I havn't used it because i need to sell it. That's what sucks about being a shaper, when you try a new shape and it turnes out you want to use it. I need to sell them, not use them! In the next few weeks ill be making another one but just a bit smaller, maybe a 5'5"? I'll let ya know when its done.

I want to thank all of you who have bought one of our new designs! I've taken the shaping side of things in a new direction and its starting to pay off. With regards to the Burly, single fins, or just a funky fat fish, i've gotten some great feedback. And at the same time have sold a good number of them.  So with that being said i need to put a plug in with regards to the surf trips. Morocco is one of the best places during the months of November - March to get perfect / long right-handers. We at surfinginmorocco will get you to  places like Safi, Agadir, and everywhere in btween. Put it this way, where the waves are, you'll be there if you book a trip with us. So give us a call  and, until then... take care and enjoy your Christmas and New Year!
