Ernest Hemingway.

With age comes wisdom, usually. As is this case it does. Ive gotten to know on old local and his  son over the last year or so. SInce living in Dar Bouazza Morocco i have gotten to know a lot of locals. Some i have great relationships with and others not so great. But with one particular guy (pictured below with his son) ive really gotten to know well. While sitting in the lineup one day out by my house it was just this older man and i and we bgan to talk. After listnening to him for some time i really didnt care about the waves, i just enjoyed listening to his stories. The first time i saw him, Ernest Hemingway came to mind, and after listening to some of his stories i couldnt help but think of Ernest Hemingway and his classic "Old Man and The Sea". If you enjoy fishing and or boating it's a must read! 

I could go on and on with the stories and pictures this guy gave me. He came into our shop last month and fell in love with an old school  single fin i had just shaped. Of course he had a story that was worth listnening to with regards to some of his first boards he ever road, and yes you guessed it they were all single fins. I haven't ridden them much but im starting to get into them. They are harder to ride than your normal tri set up but once you get the hang of it there is nothing like it. As time goes on my intention is to get more into the single fin boards. So if your in the area stop by and check out our collection of boards, there just may be  a board you'll fall in love with.
